I am still on my journey to losing weight (fat) and getting in shape. It’s going well, and when I’ve reached my goal, there will be plenty of pictures. Here’s a few comparison picture of me at my heaviest weight of 371 pounds on April 2, 2009:

Here's a comparison picture of me along the way to my goal weight

And here’s a more recent picture of me at the milestone 100 pound weight loss mark (not a destination, just passing through this weight)!

    Hi! We met briefly today in one lucky duck, I think this is a great site. And I just wanted to wish you luck! Stay positive and keep going, it can be a lonely road for a while, but it just keeps getting better and better. You’re saving yourself and setting a courageous example.

    Best,

    Cynthia

    P.S. Another good website is detoxtheworld.com check out Natalia Rose’s blog archive, there are some really lovely and informative articles (she’s the author of the raw food detox diet)

    Hi Cynthia! It was great to meet you at One Lucky Duck in NYC! I will definitely have to go there whenever I come to New York. It was my first time going to a raw vegan juice bar. Thank you for all the tips and great conversation too. Thanks, and have an awesome day! :)

    I just found you through Philip McCluskey’s website and watched all your videos. I think you’ve done an awesome job of losing weight. I had lost 20 lbs recently but just started eating a lot of raw 4 days ago at 255 and am down 5 lbs already. I have help with my gr mother eating raw also. I will be following your progress. I wish you well.

    @Dinah Day
    Hey that’s great Dinah! I know I started losing weight quickly when I went raw, and continue to do so. You’re lucky to have someone close to you who is also raw.

    Hi Rashmi, that’s great to hear you enjoyed my videos! I know how frustrating it can be to try and lose weight. Next time you see me, whether in pictures or in person, I will be even thinner! Seriously, this is great, you should try it!

    Hi Peter,

    I made my first raw juice today. I am not staying off cooked food but will slowly try to go totally raw. I am weighing 210 pounds right now. lets see after a week.

    Hi Rashmi, that’s awesome, congratulations! Integrating a bit more raw food each day is the way I did it. Sometimes it’s easier to go “high raw” (maybe 80% raw), or at least have that as a goal, rather than going 100% overnight. Back when I started, I went 50% raw. Anything is better than nothing! Then when the fat starts melting off, you’ll be more motivated to keep the momentum going. We can do this! :)

    Hey bro, thanks! Sometimes even I can’t believe the difference either. I look at those pictures and can’t believe I used to look like that. I definitely can’t give up now!

    I’m still a bit shy being seen working out at the gym, but seeing as we both have a membership at the same gym, we should plan a time when we can both meet there – jut not when it’s too busy! I prefer the off-peak times whenever possible. Looking forward to it bro!

    Have an awesome day!

    - Peter :)
